A note about this pairing: Both Merit (dame) from On Point Pudelpointers and a stud dog from Verien Pudelpointer Club meet the highest of standards set by respective clubs, Pudelpointer Club of North America and the Verien Pudelpointer Club. As such, Merit in her first breeding in 2021 with another stud dog, produced three dogs from that litter that passed their natural ability exam (NAE) in combination with the breed improvement test (BIT) from PCNA. This is likely an attribution to a strong lineage and genetic line curated by both clubs and supplemented by dogs with strong German ties.

 

Bodo Winterhelts lineage lives on in this breeding as only a single generation separates his line from On Points. The likelihood of a strong performing litter in the field in lieu of careful selection both past and present should wield exceptional dogs for both home and field.
